“Katsubenshi” is a traditional performer or movie commentator in Japan who inserts
a verbal explanation or comments of the story or line on one side of the stage
during the movie, when the so-called “movie” was silent in the past.There were
many “Katsubenshi” in Japan until 1920’s, however, there are few of them at present.
Therefore it is one of unknown Japanese culture. This animation is a comedy animation
using the traditional “Katsubenshi”.
Geisha, Kabukicho(a city filled with hookers), Kingyo(goldfish), Yujo(hooker or prostitute) are main images of Japan. I wanted to make a sham (misleading or messy) Japanese image by mixing such separate images and create this animation. A sham Japanese image seen from foreigners is the theme of this film.
Why does a young Bubble Knight continue to take a journey? This is a work which
theme is a pleasure ,loneliness and adventurous heat when traveling in unknown
places.

A Boy carries an image of infomation called [meem].
However, sometimes an infomation changes, gets dirty and becomes a lie. This
is an Art Work which theme has such dangerous aspect of infomation. This is a
Graduation Film. Even in Japan, Wolf Boy means symbol of liar. So, A Boy have
a wolf tail.
